To help make choosing a fabric for your couch or chairs fun and easy, Incanda has launched its own fabric library.This curated selection incorporates offerings from some of the best fabric houses in South Africa and offers a range of quality and cost-effective fabric options, in a variety of colours and textures.

So, if you are not really a leather person, or you would like to incorporate some fabric items with your existing leather pieces, here are some of the advantages of choosing to upholster in fabric:

So many shades to choose from

When it comes to choosing a fabric colour, you also have a range of colour shades from which you can pick and choose. This means you can select the perfect shade of green to compliment the colour in a carpet, curtains, wallpaper, or scatters. Simply introducing the perfect shade of colour can really bring a space to life!

You can mix it up

The woven nature of fabric allows for a mixing of colours, in either complementary or contrasting shades. Let’s say you have a lovely couch in deep, rich brown leather and you want to bring more warmth into a room, consider incorporating an occasional chair in lovely autumn colours – some reds, oranges, and maybe even some yellows.

On the opposite spectrum, combining a grey leather couch with an occasional chair, or even an ottoman, in a soft green can help bring balance to a somewhat cold space.
