- Agulhas leather is sealed but spills must be wiped off immediately with a cloth.
- Leather balm can be applied 2-3 times per year as the sealed layer wears off over time.
- Leather and wood care products are available in-store and online.
- Variation is bound to occur due to the nature of organic material and configuration of digital screens.

- Leather is a natural product and often has imperfections on the hide itself. There are seven main types of imperfections on a natural cowhide, namely:
- insect bites or skin condition
- scratch marks
- stretch marks
- small holes in the leather
- peeling of the epidermal layer
- brand marks (technically brandmarks are not natural, but most cowhides have brandmarks)
- colour variation
