Never expose your upholstered leather couch or chair to direct sunlight. This will cause the leather to fade faster.
Regular treating of furniture with Incanda’s specialised leather food is advisable. The product is available at all our showrooms. We advise that you treat your furniture once or twice a year. Should you live in an area with extreme weather conditions, we advise more regular treatments of every three to six months.
It is important to be aware that all types of leather inevitably fade over time, and fading is not an indication of poor-quality material. We can therefore not be held responsible for the natural fading of the leather used for the manufacturing of our furniture.
Any liquid spills on furniture should be wiped off immediately with a wet cloth.
If your couch will be used in a high traffic area, or should you be concerned about unavoidable or possible spillage on a couch, it is advisable to let us treat the furniture with a fibre protection sealant.
Leather balm is not advised to use on any buffed leather.
Our blackwood is treated to slightly lighten its colour. This process takes a month or two to fully develop. Our wood is treated with an indoor sealant to give a beautiful natural finish but is not completely stain resistant. Furniture polish is not necessary but if desired we recommend the range of polywax sealants from Woodoc.
It is not recommended to use any ammonia-based cleaning products on your wooden products.

If the client contacts us within 7 days after receiving the product, the product was received in good condition and it is just a matter of preference, a credit to the value of 90% of the item bought will be given, but no cash refund. The client will additionally be liable for transport costs.
If, in the client’s opinion, the product is defective and we agree, the options to either repair the product or to replace it with a new product will be offered. We reserve the right to still hold the client liable for transport costs, if in an outlying area.
If in our opinion the product cannot be deemed defective, we will still offer a 90% credit, no cash refund, and transport costs will be deducted.
If the client contacts us after the 7-day period is over, no credits will be given on products in good condition and defective products will be treated under our normal guarantee.
If the item in question was customized in any way, the product cannot be returned unless deemed defective, but please note, we will be much stricter in applying this policy as customized items are more difficult to sell and often the “defect” can be traced back to the very customization the client requested.
